Dr. Dan Osei will open this year's annual hand therapy meeting with a detailed plenary session on the importance of x-rays in diagnosing common hand conditions. He will discuss how to interpret x-rays for common hand injuries such as distal radius fractures, scaphoid and finger fractures, and thumb CMC osteoarthritis, using real case examples. This session is designed to enhance hand therapists' understanding of the surgical criteria and decision-making processes, fostering better collaboration in patient care.
