The American Society of Hand Therapists Annual Meeting is an invaluable resource for helping me grow as a hand and upper extremity specialist. Attending lectures, visiting vendors and socializing with fellow therapists always leaves me invigorated with exciting new clinical ideas for my patients.
Every year I am reminded how the meeting supports growth at all stages of a therapist’s career. Especially for newer clinicians, it’s an incredibly welcoming and approachable environment—one that makes it easy to engage, ask questions, and start building meaningful connections.
As a seasoned therapist, I am inspired by the research, innovations and how willing fellow therapists are to share their skill and knowledge. When the meeting concludes and I head back to my clinical practice, I always feel inspired and can’t wait until the next time that I can immerse with my colleagues!
