ASHT 2026 Annual Meeting
Move well, Live Well, & Grow Well
Make time to move, recharge and connect during the 2026 ASHT Annual Meeting. From an early morning run to quick movement breaks and yoga, there are several opportunities to support your well-being while connecting with fellow hand therapists.
Wellness Opportunities
- Head Bandz: Therapy Edition
- Thursday, October 8 during the Welcome Reception in Exhibit Hall A
- You will receive anatomy, therapy exercise, or therapy material on a stick to place on their forehead
- The goal is for the person wearing the sticker to guess what they are based on others providing clues

- Fun Run 5k Walk/Run
- Friday, October 9 - Meet in the Hilton Milwaukee lobby by 6:15 AM
- Saturday Morning Yoga
- Saturday, October 10 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM
- Join Stefanie Stevenson in the Exhibit Hall from 6:30 to 7:30 AM
- Mats will be provided, but be sure to bring a towel!
- Plenary Stretches
- Enjoy quick 2 to 3 minute stretching breaks led by Stefanie Stevenson throughout our program.
- Community Puzzle
- Help put together a community puzzle throughout the meeting in the Exhibit Hall!
- Sensory Room
- Baird Center sensory rooms were specially designed to create a safe, comfortable and controlled environment for people who are feeling over stimulated and need to decompress. We are proud to be Sensory Inclusiveâ„¢ certified by KultureCity and invite you to use the therapeutic spaces at the Baird Center South Building on the 100 Level (Near the Grand Ballroom) to get a few moments of calm.
- Sensory bags are also available by request from a guest services team member. They are filled with items designed to lessen sensory overload.

Here is a list of local nearby studios that provided ASHT attendees with reduced rates and/or a free class.

- Offering 15 spots to two different yoga classes occurring on October 8th and 9th. If interested, registration form will be sent to conference attendees. The first 15 people to register will receive a spot in the class. Other offers for attendees includes a 20% discount on rock climbing day passes and rental gear for the length of your conference. Please wear/show your badges to use the discount but we will also have a discount code graphic that you can show the staff.
