Peggy Faussett

Mary "Peggy" Faussett is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist.  She works as a Clinical Practice Specialist for the Pediatric Hand Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO).  Peggy's clinical expertise includes working with pediatric patients with congenital anomalies, brachial plexus birth injuries, orthopedic trauma and burn, neuromotor and developmental delays in addition to orthosis fabrication and casting.  She serves as a lead hand therapist in CHCO Hand Clinics, collaborating with pediatric hand surgeons and rehab physiatrists.  In her role as the clinical practice specialist, she develops and conducts continuing education and mentoring opportunities for hand therapists specializing in pediatrics.  She led her team to develop the first Pediatric Hand Therapy Fellowship recognized by AOTA. She has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on pediatric hand therapy topics.  When not working, Peggy enjoys playing the piano, crafting, reading, and hanging out with her husband and college aged sons.
