Sustainability-Inspired Art Contest
Sustainability-Inspired Art Contest: Healing Hands, Repurposed Beauty
Unleash your creativity and showcase your commitment to sustainability in our inaugural Art Contest, inspired by this year’s conference theme. All attendees are invited to participate by creating original artwork using recycled and/or repurposed materials from the field of hand therapy—splints, straps, outdated tools, therapy putty containers, and more!
Artworks can be in any format or medium—sculpture, mixed media, collage, wearable art, or beyond—as long as they reflect innovative reuse and the spirit of healing through sustainable practices.
Bring your completed artwork to the conference for on-site display and judging. We are honored to have Utah artist Bruce Hucko, our Presidential Guest Speaker, assist with the judging.
All submitted pieces will be on display and judged during the opening session in the expo hall. Art pieces will be included in the onsite AHTF Silent Auction, with proceeds from the art pieces shared equally between the American Hand Therapy Foundation (AHTF) and our local “Share the gLOVEs” charity, helping provide gloves and supplies to those in need.
