Kristin Valdes, OTD, OTR/L, CHT

Kristin Valdes, OTD, OT, CHT, is a professor at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. She is a past president of the American Society of Hand Therapists. She was in private practice for over thirty years and specialized in the treatment and rehabilitation of the upper extremity. Kristin has published over one hundred peer-reviewed studies. Dr. Valdes received her OTD degree with a specialization in hand rehabilitation from Rocky Mountain University of Health Care Professions in Provo, Utah. She received the prestigious Natalie Barr award that is awarded to hand therapists that have made significant original contributions to hand and upper extremity rehabilitation and to ASHT.
