Julie Corbett, MS, OTR, CHT

Julie Jones Corbett MS OTR/L CHT received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University.  Julie is a charter member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and received hand certification in 1991.  Julie has provided lectures in COTA and PT curriculums as well as at AOTA and APTA national conferences and published on topics such as: UE Overuse Syndrome Evaluation and Management, and In-Hand Manipulation assessment. Julie received the ASHT Best Poster Award in 2017 for "Conceptualization of a Palm to Finger Translation and Targeted Coin Placement Test". She has practiced in a variety of hospital settings and private practice settings including 13 years of Hudson River Hand Rehabilitation ownership. Presently, Julie is balancing a part time position in Hand Therapy with promoting the Corbett Targeted Coin Test (Targetedcointest.com), a standardized instrument she created to assess in-hand manipulation, specifically rotation, shift, and translation.
