Jamie Nguyen, OTR/L, CHT

Jamie Nguyen is a certified hand therapist and clinical specialist at NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation in the outpatient hand therapy department.  She has therapy experience in acute care, in-patient rehab, home care, and outpatient therapy settings. Currently, she works with non-operative and post-operative upper extremity orthopedic diagnoses.  Additionally, she educates and mentors new staff therapist on evidence-based rehab of the elbow, wrist, hand, and overhead athlete. She graduated with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She has presented both locally and nationally on various topics including rehab of the overhead athlete, using telehealth to treat overuse conditions of the upper extremity, recovery after post gender affirming care, and the long term musculoskeletal effects of COVID-19.
