Erin Meisel, MD, FAAOS, is an attending physician in Hand, Upper Extremity & Microsurgery and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Southern California.
Dr. Meisel specializes in the treatment of complex disorders of the upper extremity. She has particular interests in brachial plexus injuries, congenital hand disorders, peripheral nerve surgery, and upper extremity reconstruction.
Dr. Meisel completed her residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She subsequently completed fellowships in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microsurgery at Duke University and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at CHLA.
Dr. Meisel is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with an additional subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She is an active member of multiple professional organizations such as American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Society for Peripheral Nerve, American Association for Hand Surgery, and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society for North America.
