Erika Schnaps, OTR/L, CHT
Erika Schnaps, OTR/L, CHT, COEE is the OT Hand Fellowship Coordinator at NYU Langone Health. She received her BA in Neuroscience, her BS in OT and her MA in OT from the University of Southern California and completed a hand therapy fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery. With over 10 years of experience, Erika has lectured on several occasions at NYU’s continuing education courses, as well as on a national level at AOTA. She was the Senior clinical instructor for the hand therapy department at NYU for the past three years and played an active role as a splinting lab instructor for Level II OT fieldwork students. Erika is very passionate about mentoring and the education of others as well as the incorporation of psychology into her patient care.
