Emily Gottier, OTR/L, CHT
Emily Gottier OTR/L, CHT started her career as an occupational therapist in 2017 when she graduated from Quinnipiac University with a master’s in OT and a minor in psychology. In her early career she enjoyed exploring a variety of practice areas including pediatrics, mental health, inpatient and outpatient rehab including orthopedics and neurorehabilitation. She then focused her career on outpatient rehab and pursued her CHT, which she passed in 2021. She is currently working as an outpatient therapist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, where she specializes in hand therapy. She also has been certified in the LSVT BIG program since 2018, and is dedicated to working with patients with Parkinson’s disease. She is passionate about learning, as well as supporting the learning of others. She enjoys supervising fieldwork students, and completed the AOTA Fieldwork Educator Certificate in 2023. She has been participating in the 2024 ASHT Leadership Development Program to further explore leadership as a clinician and educator.
