Amy De Maagd, PhD, MS, OTRL, CLT, CHT, LSVT

Amy De Maagd, PhD, MS, OTRL, CLT, CHT, LSVT-BIG,  currently works as an occupational therapist for CorsoCare, providing specialty services for the homebound population. She has been an occupational therapist specializing in upper extremity dysfunction, treating individuals from birth to 100+ years old in various settings for over two decades. Amy received her master’s in occupational therapy from Grand Valley State University and her doctorate in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from Michigan State University. She taught courses at Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, and the University of Michigan – Flint. As a clinical researcher, Amy is interested in upper extremity rehabilitation involving evidence-based practice, telehealth, graded motor imagery, cognitive science, and pain neuroscience education. This is Amy’s third research presentation at ASHT’s Annual Meetings.
