Jacqueline Reese Walter, PhD, OTR/L, CHT

Jacqueline Reese Walter, PhD, OTR/L, CHT, CEAS II is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.  Dr. Reese Walter earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY in 1997. She obtained her PhD in occupational therapy in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. Reese Walter has been a certified hand therapist since 2005.  Although she has been a full time academician since 2011, she continues to provide per diem and pro bono hand therapy services on a regular basis.  Dr. Reese Walter's research interests include ergonomics, occupation based hand therapy, and hand therapy assessments. Her current research is focused on establishing psychometric properties for a common hand dexterity assessment with a future aim to renorm the assessment tool.
