Zachary Schluger, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is the Founder of Splintech and a Certified Hand Therapist specializing in the design and fabrication of custom 3D-printed upper extremity orthoses. He earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in 2017 and has dedicated his clinical career exclusively to hand therapy, earning his Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2020. Combining extensive clinical experience with expertise in 3D scanning, computer-aided design (CAD), and additive manufacturing, Zach has developed digital workflows that enable the creation of highly customized orthoses tailored to each patient's anatomy and functional goals. His work focuses on bridging traditional hand therapy principles with emerging technologies to improve comfort, fit, function, and efficiency in orthotic fabrication.
