Her approach integrates evidence-based occupational therapy with Pilates-based rehabilitation, emphasizing core strengthening, trunk stability, and postural control to reduce stress on distal joints and areas of strain while optimizing upper extremity function. Dr. Dimopoulos earned her Bachelor's (2015), Master's (2016), and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (2017) degrees from the University of Southern California (USC). She completed a one-year clinical residency at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles County, specializing in outpatient neurorehabilitation, where she earned her Neuro-IFRAH certification in the treatment of adults with stroke and brain injury. In 2019, Dr. Dimopoulos relocated to New York City to pursue advanced training in hand therapy and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2021. Following her own recovery from injury, she pursued certification as a STOTT PILATESĀ® Rehab Instructor (Mat and Reformer), allowing her to incorporate Pilates-based rehabilitation principles into the treatment of upper extremity conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Dimopoulos has served as an adjunct professor since 2019, teaching numerous graduate-level courses in upper extremity rehabilitation, orthotic fabrication, neurological rehabilitation, and kinesiology. She is passionate about advancing occupational therapy through innovative, evidence-informed approaches that integrate whole-body movement strategies with traditional hand therapy to improve function and participation in meaningful daily activities.
