Sarah Whitworth, OTR, OTD, CHT

Sarah graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 and started her career in the outpatient therapy setting at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She developed a love for all things upper extremity and decided to specialize in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity by becoming a Certified Hand Therapist in 2013. Sarah works closely with local surgeons and physicians to treat surgical and non-surgical hand and upper extremity diagnoses and injuries involving the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, & hand. She returned to school in 2016 to obtain her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2018 from Texas Woman's University and published a research article in the Annals of International Occupational Therapy Journal in 2021. Her passion is building and sustaining relationships with clients through compassionate and personalized care. She is the owner of Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers Sherman.
