Reeti Douglas

Reeti Douglas, OTD, OTR/L  is the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Wingate University’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program in North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch and her post-professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy with a specialization in Hand Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Across 23 years, her professional experience has included a variety of pediatric areas including wound clinics, burn clinics, hand clinics, sports medicine clinics, and pediatric hand camps.  Reeti was the founding occupational therapist for the pediatric hand therapy program at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas and developed the pediatric occupational therapy sports medicine program for Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Frisco, Texas. She has presented regionally and nationally on pediatric splinting, pediatric casting, pediatric hand therapy, and rehabilitation of pediatric athletes. Reeti has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and a textbook chapter related to pediatric athletes.
