Nicole Hoover, MS, OTR, CHT

Nicole Hoover, OTR, CHT is currently a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee (UWM). She received a master’s in occupational therapy (OT) in 2011 and has since dedicated her career to advances in hand therapy. She teaches hand therapy, biomechanics and physical agent modalities at UWM. Nicole has experience in a variety of clinical settings including ergonomics, various levels of inpatient rehab and outpatient hand therapy. She remains active as a clinician at the Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (MOSH), and she was recently awarded two grants for her work related to thumb stability. She is very passionate about innovation, knowledge sharing, networking and advocating for positive change.
