Neill Y Li, MD

Dr. Li is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, peripheral nerve, and microvascular surgery. He serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Surgery, and leads a peripheral nerve regeneration laboratory focused on advancing the understanding of nerve injury and repair at Duke. His research explores the genetic, cellular, and immunologic mechanisms of nerve regeneration, with a particular emphasis on aging and the development of innovative biologic therapies to improve patient recovery.
