Mitzi Harrison, PT CHT

Mitzi Harrison, PT, CHT, is the owner of Certified Hand Therapy Services, LLC in Boulder, Colorado, where she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries. A Certified Hand Therapist with more than 40 years of clinical experience, she has dedicated her career to helping patients return to the activities they value most. Mitzi has a special interest in the management of rock-climbing injuries, particularly pulley injuries. Recognizing the need for treatment strategies that support both healing and continued participation in climbing, she developed a comprehensive, evidence-based pulley injury management program that integrates diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, custom-fabricated pulley ring orthoses, and an early return-to-climb protocol. Committed to advancing evidence-based hand therapy, Mitzi led a clinical research study evaluating her pulley injury management protocol, with findings accepted for publication. She continues to practice full-time while providing specialized care for patients with complex upper extremity conditions and educating therapists on the evaluation and management of climbing-related injuries.
