Leslie Boone, OTR/L

Leslie Abbott Boone, OTR/L, CHT (Retired), volunteers with Victims' Rights Arkansas and serves on the National Board of Trustees of the National Organization of Parents Of Murdered Children. Throughout her career, Leslie has been passionate about helping people through difficult seasons of life. As the spouse of a career military officer, she lived throughout the United States and overseas—from Europe to Micronesia—experiences that strengthened her appreciation for service, resilience, and the importance of community. After life-changing events profoundly affected her twin sister, Laura, and their family, Leslie's path expanded from healthcare into victims' rights education. Building on the same qualities that guided her work as a healthcare professional—educating, encouraging, collaborating, and caring for people through difficult moments—she now educates healthcare professionals, victim advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and community organizations. Leslie believes the best outcomes are achieved when professionals bridge disciplines, share their expertise, and amplify one another's voices in support of individuals and families affected by crime. She is passionate about fostering collaboration that promotes compassionate, coordinated care and meaningful support. Away from her volunteer work, Leslie enjoys spending time with family, flying and traveling with her husband, Keith, and making memories with their three beloved Eurasiers—Tunner, Moose, and Jax.
