Lauren DeTullio

Lauren DeTullio, OTR/L, CHT, is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with more than 23 years of experience specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. She serves as the Regional Therapy Director at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center and is the Director of the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation, where she is dedicated to advancing excellence in hand therapy through education, research, and medical missions. In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Lauren is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University, where she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of occupational therapists and hand therapists. One of Lauren's clinical interests center on the management of flexor tendon injuries, with a particular emphasis on prehabilitation strategies designed to optimize postoperative outcomes. She has a special interest in the unique challenges of small finger flexor tendon injuries and is committed to developing evidence-informed approaches that improve patient function and recovery.
