Kim McVeigh, MBA, OTR/L, CHT, FACHE
Kim McVeigh MBA, OTR/L, CHT, FACHE currently serves as an Operations Administrator for The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Florida and has been an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist specializing in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder orthopedic injuries at Mayo Clinic since 1999.
Kim’s past leadership roles include Supervisor and Director of Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic, as well as Operations Administrator for Sports Medicine, Hospital Discharge Efficiency, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Employee Well-Being, Medical Ethics, and the Kern Center for the Science of Healthcare Delivery. In addition, Kim is adjunct faculty at Jacksonville University, is a current board member for the American Society of Hand Therapists and is a past board member of the American Association of Hand Surgery and the American Hand Therapy Foundation. Kim has presented education at the national and international level on various rehabilitation topics over 30 times. She has published 11 peer-reviewed journal publications, including a grant-funded study.
Kim holds academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in both Healthcare Administration and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation colleges. She received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University and her Master’s in Business Administration with a major in Healthcare Administration from New England College.
