Juliet Steffe, EdD, OTD, OTR/L, CHT

Juliet graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in 1995 with a Master of Occupational Therapy.  Early in her career, she worked in Atlanta, GA, with children recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions, including brachial plexus birth injuries, congenital conditions of the upper extremity, and traumatic injuries.  She earned her PPOTD in 2005, specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. In 2006, she received board certification in hand therapy (CHT).  She is trained in NDT and holds certifications in Dry Needling and Kinesiotaping. The focus of her practice as an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist has been working with both adults and children recovering from either traumatic or chronic conditions of the upper extremities. Juliet recently completed her Doctor of Education in April 2025, with a dual focus on Executive Leadership and Teaching and Curriculum Design. She currently works at Spalding University in Louisville as the Director of Academic Fieldwork and an Assistant Professor for the OT program. She also continues to work part-time in the clinic with Louisville Orthopedic and Sports Rehab.

She continues to grow her leadership experience as the current chair of the Leadership Development Committee for the American Society of Hand Therapy. She also has experience in leadership roles, including clinic development, ownership, and management. She enjoys learning and developing her leadership skills and recently completed training in positive intelligence and communication to further strengthen these skills.
