Hayley Brown

Hayley Brown is a Physiotherapist (PT) and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) who has been practising in the musculoskeletal private practice sector for 8 years. She currently resides in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

Hayley completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology (BExPhys) before being accepted into the prestigious Bond University (Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia) for the Doctor of Physiotherapy program (DPhty). Hayley graduated with the Award for Clinical Proficiency with the highest grade across every clinical placement; a notable achievement as over half the curriculum was imbedded with clinical placement.

Hayley worked as Physiotherapist in the Department of Education in Australia, helping children living with neurodevelopmental disorders to succeed in school. She concurrently worked in a musculoskeletal private practice setting. In 2017, Hayley travelled to Whistler, Canada, and fell in love with the snow which prompted her to decide to immigrate. She arrived in Canada with her two dogs in 2019. Hayley started working in a private practice with two CHTs and developed an unexpected passion for hand therapy. She achieved the Certification for Hand Therapy in 2022.

Hayley currently manages a mixed caseload of physiotherapy and hand therapy clients. She has a special interest in injuries to the upper limb. Hayley enjoys coming to the USA at least once per year for continuing education courses and to experience many exciting and beautiful areas of the country.

Prior to her career in healthcare, Hayley was enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy for 10 years. She is a Navy Veteran and Returned Servicewoman of the Second Gulf War (Iraq War).
