greg watchmaker, MD

Dr. Greg P. Watchmaker is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and upper-extremity surgeon who earned his B.S. in biochemistry with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, followed by surgical training at Barnes/Jewish/Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He completed an orthopaedic upper-extremity fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after which he returned to Milwaukee and formed The Milwaukee Hand Center. His publications in the Journal of Hand Surgery, Journal Hand, Hand Clinics, and invited book chapters span original research on distal radius fracture care, prospective outcomes analysis following carpal tunnel release, nerve injures, and cubital tunnel syndrome. He has been an invited speaker at the ASSH, AAHS, and regional conferences and has been a student educator through out his career.
