Caroline W. Stegink Jansen, PT, PhD, CHT

Caroline W. Stegink-Jansen, PT, PhD, CHT, is Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation (DOSR) at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She received her physical therapy degree from the School of Physical Therapy in Utrecht, the Netherlands, her master’s and PhD degrees from the Texas Woman’s University, in Houston, Texas. She conducts research, assists other researchers and faculty and advises OTs, PTs and Orthopedic residents of the DOSR in their scientific projects. Her research and publications focus on measurement of upper extremity issues, clinical problems of nerve compression, overuse problems, breast cancer rehabilitation and pediatrics. She serves as board member of the AHTF, and as committee member of the ASHT DEI committee. She is a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Hand Therapy, the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, and Physiotherapy, Theory and Practice. An International Journal of Physical Therapy.
