Carl A. Lindsey, OTC, COF, ROT, CWCMS is a Senior Clinical Orthopedic Trainer with Essity, BSN Medical, and has more than three decades of experience in orthopedic care, surgical services, and clinical education. In his current role, he provides casting and splinting training to orthopedic healthcare professionals nationwide and co-authored Orthopaedic Immobilization Techniques: A Step-by-Step Guide for Casting and Splinting. Prior to joining Essity, Carl served 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he held leadership positions in orthopedic departments, sports medicine programs, and military orthopedic training, earning numerous service and clinical excellence awards. He holds degrees in Healthcare Management, Surgical Technology, and Instructional Training, and is a Certified Orthopedic Technologist, Certified Orthotic Fitter, Registered Orthopedic Technician, and Certified Wound Care Market Specialist.
