Candice James, OTD-S

Candice James, OTD-S, is a second-year Occupational Therapy Doctoral student at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Candice is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the Capital Hand Therapy Association (CHTA), and the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), where she serves as the Public Relations and Historian Representative. She is also a research assistant at the GW Orthopedic Clinic, contributing to evidence-based research that supports clinical practice. Candice is passionate about evidence-based practice and looks forward to further developing her clinical expertise in hand therapy while providing patient-centered, evidence-informed occupational therapy services.
