Christine Davis, OTD, OTR
Christine Davis is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at Baylor University. She has over twenty years of clinical experience in various settings including inpatient adult behavioral health, outpatient, acute care, school-based services, adolescent residential behavioral health, and long-term care. Dr. Davis assisted with program development, carry-over, and advocacy of occupational therapy services in the clinical setting for programs including adolescent residential behavioral health, fibromyalgia care, concussion management, and dementia care. She completed her Post-professional OTD in 2019 and has over 3 years’ experience in academia teaching courses including mental health, children and youth, doctoral capstone courses, pain science courses, and customizing independent study courses to meet the needs of the students. She completed the USC Sensory Integration Continuing Education (CE) Certificate Program, the EIM Fellowship in Pain Science, and the STAR Institute Research Mentorship. Dr. Davis has completed scholarly activities in areas of reading in higher education and on educating children and adults on pain science to improve participation.
