Dino Arcuri, DPT

Dino Arcuri, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with seven years of experience at NYU Langone Health, including the past two years specializing in hand therapy within the outpatient orthopedic setting.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University in 2015, his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2016, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, also from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, in 2018.

His clinical interests include manual therapy and the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain, as well as elbow, hand/wrist, and shoulder conditions. He has a particular interest in interdisciplinary care models that combine physical and occupational therapy to support optimal functional outcomes for patients with upper extremity impairments.

In his current role as a Senior I Physical Therapist at NYU Langone’s Rusk Outpatient Hand Therapy Department, Dino manages a high-volume caseload and regularly treats patients following procedures such as reverse total shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, distal radius and olecranon ORIFs, distal biceps and triceps repairs, basal joint arthroplasty, and various nerve decompression surgeries. He is also proficient in fabricating custom forearm and hand-based orthoses for common upper extremity conditions.

Prior to this, he gained extensive experience in both inpatient rehabilitation and acute care, working with complex neurologic and cardiopulmonary populations. He has mentored physical therapy students, led in-services, contributed to interdisciplinary publications, and participated in department-level clinical initiatives.

Dino holds certifications in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training, ergonomics assessment (CEAS I), and clinical instruction (CCIP Level 1). He is also a member of the APTA and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. His presentation on the digit widget reflects his commitment to innovation in upper extremity rehabilitation.
